Marathoners lace-up for a
26.2-mile (41.92-km) race through scenic areas of Walt Disney World. Live bands
and Disney characters inspire some 15,000 runners to stay on course

Whodunit
the science of solving crime

Walk into a crime scene
and use your powers of observation to solve a crime while exploring scientific
principles, methods, and technologies employed by criminal investigators.
Whodunit: The Science of Solving Crime is a traveling exhibit from the Fort
Worth Museum of Science and History. Some of the featured techniques include DNA
profiling, fingerprinting, pathology, and firearm identification
Coral
Reef Adventure -
Feb 15 though summer
Travel across the
spectacular coral reefs of the South Pacific in this giant screen
extravaganza from MacGillivray Freeman Films (Everest , Dolphins). The
most wondrous reefs on the planet and unique marine animal behaviour are
documented as underwater filmmakers Howard and Michele Hall explore Fiji,
Tahiti, Rangiroa, and the Great Barrier Reef.

APRIL

Epcot International Flower
& Garden Festival -
April 20-June 3
Epcot's biggest horticultural feat of the year blooms with flower and
garden displays representing the international themes of Epcot's World Showcase.
The 7th annual festival includes tours of the gardens, backstage nursery areas
and greenhouses; gardening demonstrations; and a lecture series. The event also
includes a Kids' Day and special dining packages.
MAY

JUNE

Cypress Gardens'
Caladiums - June 24 - Aug 25
With their exotic, dramatically coloured leaves, caladiums offer guests
a kaleidoscope of colour and beauty. Foliage of red, pinks, burgundy, bronze and
silver that may be banded, spotted or dusted over green or mostly white leaves
is certain to delight guests. The display contains 25 different caladium
varieties consisting of two basic types -- fancy leafed varieties with showy,
heart-shaped leaves and lance leafed types bearing longer, more narrow leaves.
JULY

Lake Eola Picnic in the Park -
July 4
Celebrate the Fourth of July at a 22 year downtown tradition with
games, activities, entertainment and fireworks. Activities begin at 3 p.m. and
conclude with fireworks at 9 p.m.

Celebration - July 4
Celebrate the most patriotic holiday in grand style. Live entertainment
and a special ski show highlight the day's activities and the evening heats up
with the fireworks extravaganza.
